From the start to the finish of my appointment, Dr Ashena was the essence of professionalism, courtesy and civility. She was empathetic whilst gently but firmly correcting my wrong assumptions and wrong information that I had been previously provided. She listened keenly to my explanations, seeking clarification when required. I have nothing to suggest to improve the care and attention that Dr. Ashena gave me. I only wish that I could have a similar experience when I visit my NHS clinic.

Miss Zahra ashena is a fantastic consultant/ operating surgeon who is a credit to our nhs. Miss ashena carried out on me cataract with lens implant with complications such as Fuchs endothelial dystrophy, my vision is great now in both eyes with no complications.I am now under yearly reviews with miss ashena and I know I am in safe hands Les smith

Ms Ashena is an amazing doctor, who listens patiently, is gentle and empathetic. My cornea was damaged and I was in a lot of pain initially, her treatments helped and my eye was healed. I’ll be thankful to her always. We need more doctors like her.

I had a pterygium removed by Ms Ashena in September 2022 prior to having to have a cataract procedure later this year.Any concerns I had about this procedure were quickly dispelled by her clear explanation and reassuring manner of what the procedure and aftercare involved.Every question was simply and clearly answered with the help of easily understandable ingormation and diagrams.Ms Ahena's reassurance instilled confidence and faith in her obvious ability.I feel she is a credit to her profession
